Builder. Storyteller. The person behind every product at SLTR Digital.
The Story
Kevin Minn grew up between two worlds. Born in Burma to a family shaped by resilience and instability in equal measure, he learned early that nothing stays the same. His father was a man of two lives: magnetic and generous when sober, devastating when he wasn't. Kevin watched fortunes appear and vanish overnight. Cars sold. Savings erased. And then, always, rebuilding from scratch.
His grandmother's house was the constant. Her hands were steady. Her eyes didn't change. It was in that stillness that Kevin found the space to observe, to think, and to dream about building something that couldn't be taken away.
School wasn't a refuge. Kevin wasn't like the other boys. He was quiet. Observant. Soft in ways the world punished. He survived things no child should face, and he carried those experiences forward, not as scars to hide, but as fuel for something purposeful.
He didn't come to technology through a computer science degree or a Silicon Valley incubator. He came to it through necessity. Through wanting to create things that served the people the world tends to overlook. Through believing that the best products come from people who have lived the problems they are solving.
What Drives Him
Every product Kevin builds starts with the same question: Who is being underserved, and why?
Gay men who deserve a dating platform that treats them with dignity. Families who deserve to stop drowning in the invisible work of feeding their household. People who can't sleep and don't know why. Gig workers who earn a real living but can't prove it to a lender.
These aren't hypothetical users. These are real people navigating real gaps in the systems around them. Kevin builds for them because he's been one of them. He knows what it feels like to be overlooked by a system that wasn't designed with you in mind.
“I don't build apps. I build answers to questions that kept me up at night. Every product starts with a frustration I couldn't ignore and a belief that it doesn't have to be this way.”
